Queen Catramide
Сatramide was the 7th queen of the Bagratuni Kingdom of Armenia, the daughter of King Smbat. Under her patronage, several churches were built in the city of Ani, including the Cathedral of Ani. Сatramide was known as the “Builder Queen.”
According to the historical writings of Movses Khorenatsi, the name that has come down to us is Catramide, not Katranide, which is why our brand is named Сatramide.
After a long search, Queen Katramide met the architect Trdat, who then carried out the construction of the Cathedral of Ani.
During Queen Catramide’s reign, the city of Ani flourished and experienced significant development, as she invested her entire inheritance—received from her father—into the prosperity of the city. A replica of the Ani Cathedral, called Saint Savior Church, was built in Gyumri.

The Kadramide brand has a clear mission: to pass on Armenian history to future generations and to properly make it recognizable.
